Getting started & access
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Sign up with your email — no credit card required. You get a fully funded $100K paper trading account and access to 50+ AI tools immediately. Your 30-day Pro trial activates automatically; after that, you can stay on the free plan indefinitely with paper trading, or upgrade for live broker execution. Full plan breakdown lives on our pricing page.
Do I need a broker to use Treeova?
No. Paper trading is fully functional without a broker connection — you trade on live market data with virtual funds. When you're ready to go live, you can connect a broker in under 60 seconds from any of the 7+ supported integrations.
What is Treeova and who is it for?
Treeova is a no-code options trading workspace built for retail and self-directed traders. It combines AI-powered analysis, real-time market data, paper trading, education, and 7+ broker integrations into one workspace — so you can research, build strategies, and execute trades without switching tools or writing code.
Do I need coding experience to use Treeova?
Not at all. Treeova is designed from the ground up to be no-code. Strategies are built through plain-English prompts inside the trading workspace, analysis is generated by AI agents, and trades are placed through a visual interface. If you can describe what you want in a sentence, Treeova can turn it into an automated workflow.
How it works
How does the prompt-based strategy builder work?
Describe your trading idea in plain English — for example, 'Sell 30-delta covered calls on AAPL when IV rank tops 30.' Treeova's AI interprets your prompt, generates a multi-step agent chain with entry rules, exit targets, and risk checks, then presents a guided visual workflow where you can review and refine every node before deploying. No coding required.
How does paper trading work on Treeova?
Every Treeova account comes with a fully funded paper trading account — no broker connection required. You get a realistic simulated portfolio with real-time market data, full options chain access, and the same AI analysis tools available on live accounts. It's the risk-free way to test strategies before committing real capital. Profitable paper trades even earn you bonus Triobols. See how paper trading works for the full mechanics.
What are Triobols (₮) and how do they work?
Triobols are Treeova's internal AI credit currency. Every AI-powered action — from running an Arch-AGI conviction report to generating a strategy with the agent chain builder — costs a small number of Triobols. This lets you control exactly how much AI power you use, with full transparency on spend. Free-tier accounts start with a generous Triobol grant so you can explore immediately.
How do I earn Triobols?
You earn Triobols in several ways: your subscription plan includes a recurring monthly grant, profitable paper trades award bonus Triobols, referring friends gives both of you a Triobol bonus, and completing educational milestones in the learning hub unlocks additional credits. Higher-tier plans include larger recurring grants.
What can I spend Triobols on?
Triobols power every AI feature on the platform: Arch-AGI conviction analysis (the 7-pass deep-dive on any position), Navigator agent conversations, strategy automation runs, conditional order monitoring, and premium market-data lookups. Each action shows its Triobol cost upfront so there are never surprises.
How is Treeova different from other trading platforms?
Most platforms give you a chart and an order ticket. Treeova gives you a complete intelligence layer: AI agents that analyze your positions across 7 analytical passes, a prompt-based strategy builder that turns ideas into automated workflows, an integrated education hub with 30+ interactive lessons, and a Triobol economy that rewards smart trading.
Brokers & integrations
What brokers does Treeova support?
Treeova connects to 7+ brokers including Robinhood, Tastytrade, Webull, TradeStation, Lightspeed, NinjaTrader, and Tradovate — with more being added regularly. You can link multiple accounts and switch between them from one workspace. The full supported brokers list is kept up to date as new integrations ship. Paper trading is always available even without a broker connection.
What happens to my data when I connect my broker?
Treeova receives only the data your broker exposes through its official API — typically account balances, positions, open orders, and order-execution endpoints. Credentials are never stored in plaintext: OAuth refresh tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and decrypted only inside the trading-execution edge function at order time. Treeova does not sell, share, or syndicate your trading data to third parties, and you can revoke broker access at any moment from your broker's app — that immediately and permanently cuts Treeova's ability to read or trade the account. Full architecture is in our security overview.
Is it safe to connect my broker?
Yes. Treeova never receives, stores, or sees your broker username or password. Connections use OAuth or signed API tokens issued directly by your broker, encrypted at rest with AES-256, and scoped to the trading permissions you authorize. You can revoke access from your broker at any time and Treeova loses the ability to read or trade. Full details are documented in our security overview.
Can I trade in an IRA on Treeova?
Yes, if your broker supports options trading inside the IRA. Treeova reads the account type from your broker and respects the IRA-level restrictions your broker enforces — for example, blocking strategies that require uncovered (naked) short positions. You configure permissions with your broker; Treeova then routes orders only within those limits. We do not custody funds and we are not the IRA provider.
What are the PDT rule and day-trading limits?
The FINRA Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule applies to your live broker account, not to Treeova. Margin accounts under $25,000 in equity are limited to three day trades in any rolling five-business-day window; crossing that threshold tags the account as PDT and requires the $25,000 minimum to be maintained. Cash accounts are not subject to PDT but are bound by T+1 settlement on trade proceeds. Treeova mirrors these mechanics inside paper trading so a strategy that breaks PDT in paper would break it live too — see how paper trading works for the full settlement model.
Safety, methodology & billing
Can Treeova execute bad trades and lose my real money?
Live trading carries real risk and you can lose money — that's true on any platform. Treeova mitigates this with multiple layers: every strategy is built and approved by you, agents run inside a strict modality gate (alert-only agents cannot fire trade orders), every order passes through the Adaptive Risk Engine which enforces stop-loss, max-loss, and position-concentration caps, and live trading is blocked outside US market hours (9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET) by default. You also have an unlimited paper-trading account to validate any strategy on live market data before risking a dollar. Treeova does not custody funds — your broker holds your money and is the only entity that can move it.
How does Treeova make money? Are you trading against me?
Treeova makes money from transparent monthly subscription plans and Triobol credit packs — nothing else. We are not a broker, we do not take the other side of your trades, we do not route order flow for payment, and we do not sell your trading data. Your orders go directly to the broker you connected; Treeova only constructs the order ticket and hands it off. Our incentives are aligned with you keeping a working account long enough to renew your subscription, which means we win when your strategies actually work. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.
Is Treeova regulated? Is this legal?
Treeova is a software-automation tool, not a broker-dealer, not a registered investment advisor, and not a money transmitter — so the regulations that apply to those entities do not apply to Treeova. The regulated entity in your trading stack is your broker (FINRA/SEC-registered for US equities and options), and all custody, clearing, settlement, and PDT enforcement happens at the broker. Treeova operates as a normal SaaS business and complies with applicable data, privacy, and consumer-protection laws. Using Treeova to automate your own trading on your own broker account is fully legal in jurisdictions where retail options trading is permitted. See our legal documents for the full disclosures.
Is Treeova investment advice?
No. Treeova is a software automation tool, not a registered investment advisor. All strategies are created and controlled by you. The AI agents execute what you configure — they do not make investment recommendations. Full details are in our legal documents.
What is Arch-AGI conviction analysis?
Arch-AGI is Treeova's proprietary multi-pass intelligence engine. For any options position, it runs 7 sequential analysis passes — covering edge analysis, scenario modeling, risk-reward scoring, regime detection, macro alignment, reinforcement-learning calibration, and adversarial stress testing — then produces a single conviction score and actionable trade guidance. It learns from your trading history to improve over time. The full Arch-AGI methodology whitepaper documents every pass in detail.
What backs Treeova's 'Adaptive Risk' claim?
Treeova's Adaptive Risk Engine is a two-tier protection model: a deterministic Standard tier of guardrails and a context-modulated Adaptive trailing tier. Agents pull levers; the platform performs all risk arithmetic. The full methodology — including the trailing-stop state machine, safety floor, and audit log structure — is published in the Adaptive Risk Engine whitepaper.
How does Treeova evaluate AI agent performance honestly?
Treeova publishes a dedicated Methodology Note (WP-10) covering paper-trading simulator fidelity, phase-aware success classification, and regime-segmented Bayesian-style RL calibration — including explicit limitations and the standard 'past performance does not guarantee future results' disclaimer. Read the backtesting and RL calibration methodology for the full evaluation framework.
Does Treeova publish technical methodology for its AI systems?
Yes. Treeova publishes a methodology whitepaper hub documenting the architecture and qualitative behavior of every named subsystem — Arch-AGI conviction analysis, the Adaptive Risk Engine, the Triconomic Engine, Lossless Context Management, the Market Intelligence Super-Swarm, the ASI Evolution Engine, the Meta-Agent Trading Stack, the MetaChart Engine, the Security & Data Architecture, and the Paper Trading Backtesting & RL Calibration methodology note.
Can I cancel anytime or get a refund?
Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month with no contract — cancel from your account settings at any time and you retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period. New subscriptions are covered by a 14-day refund window: if Treeova isn't the right fit, contact support within 14 days of your first paid charge for a full refund. After the 14-day window, partial-month refunds are not issued, but cancellation is immediate and frictionless.
